hello! my 1st visit to NYNY made me determined not to return again. I had fish & chips... expensive & not nice.

But on an occasion of friends gathering, they decided to go NYNY. Surprisingly, their Beef Bolognaise Spaghetti tasted very nice! $12.90 only. After that i also tried their cream-based spaghetti...nice with cheezy taste! :) Worth a try.

However some outlet's standard varies. Do go to Citylink outlet for best chef's standard.

Then I guess you have answered your own question, New York New York is cheaper than Gelare... unless it is waffle day (think will be the same price..)

But the doughs of both NYNY and Gelare is very different. NYNY is more to the cakey sort while Gelare is the fluffy sort... I like Gelare's waffles but I dislike they inconsistency maybe I am only willing to eat it on Tuesdays...

The waffle at New York New York is $7.90 (excluding 7% GST and 10% service charge). Comes with a scoop of ice-cream so it would be about the same price at Gelare...

My first visit happens to be my last. I also thought you were generous with a 6 for 'food' and 'value for money' - more like 5 or 5.5 for me.
